Update 1

Okay, my last update was on 9/23/05. Almost one full one month ago; therefore, I have decided to make up for lost time. Since mid September much has happened in my ever eventful life. I will describe these events over the next several posts. On the first week of October my high school cross country team came up to chicago to run at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational. It was so good to see all my friends that are still in high school again but at the same time it is a noticeably different experience. The team has slipped in recent years and they finished poorly but I still believe they had a good time. A few of the runners even managed to come look at DePaul while they were in the city and I think we may have some future blue demons. On sunday the day after the race I went to church at fourth presbyterian on Michicgan Ave. The church it self is very ornate while the sermon was very traditional in the way it was delivered but fairly liberal in its perspective. Following church I walked down to the Chicago Yacht Club located on the Lake just north of grant's park. The meal of course was spectacular. I enjoyed all the basic breakfast necessities on a patio on the lake. Friends of my family also joined me. It was good to see familiar faces again. Afterwards they took me up to see their apartment above Navy Pier on the 44 floor. What a view! Thats it, i'll write more later.
